The University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) is one of the five campuses of the University of Tennessee system. Until 2011, this institution was the only public higher education institution in West Tennessee.

Most of the programs focus on the study of agriculture, business, engineering. Students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at the faculties:

Students live in three dormitories. The cost of living is about 3150-6820 $ per year. Meals in university canteens are provided in two forms:

  • Arbitrary/no subscription
  • Subscription for 10 meals a day - about $ 3360 per semester.

Activities The University of Tennessee at Martin

The university's equestrian team is a member of the Eastern College Sports Conference, the National Intercouniversity Rodeo Association, and the Ohio Valley Conference.

The university has more than 150 student clubs and organizations of various directions: sports, creativity, science.

In 2020, the Hawk University radio station received the tenth Platinum Award in a row at the International Conference on the Interuniversity Broadcasting System. Platinum award is the highest assessment of the quality of broadcasting at the university level. In the spring of the same year, the athletes earned the highest overall score in history.

Requirements for applicants for bachelor's degree:

  • Cumulative minimum score of 21 on american College Test (ACT)/980 SAT (ERW + M) and cumulative high school GPA 2.7 out of 4.0 OR cumulative score of 19 on ACT/900 SAT (ERW + M) and cumulative GPA 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
  • Certificate of secondary education
  • Official transcript
  • TOEFL certificate from 61/500 or IELTS from 5.5 if the student is a foreigner
  • Registration fee – 30$.

Minimum requirements for admission to master's programs:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 at the time of completion of the bachelor's degree
  • Official transcript of courses taken
  • GRE/GMAT results
  • TOEFL certificate from 61/500 or IELTS from 5.5 if the student is a foreigner
