The Los Angeles Film School is a commercial arts college offering bachelor's degree programs and associate degree courses in the fields of film and television.

Officially opened in 1999, the institution occupied the building of a historic recording studio, whose services were used by Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead, Henry Mancini and others. Today, the film school has hundreds of graduates who have achieved international recognition in various fields of art: from editing, cinematography to senior positions in the technological departments of the film industry, directing. Every year, LA Film School educates about 2,500 students in face-to-face and online formats, providing them with competitive skills and knowledge that meet modern requirements. Under the guidance of qualified teachers with many years of experience and their own achievements, students study subject disciplines, use the latest equipment and technologies, and practice their knowledge both on and off campus.

The US university is notable for significant investments in its infrastructure and equipment, and runs its own recording school.

Many academic programs are available in full-time and online formats — students can choose the most suitable form of obtaining knowledge for themselves, the difference in them is small. LA Film School does not have its own residences and does not cooperate with local housing organizations, but its staff can help students find a suitable place to stay during their studies in the USA.

There is a cafeteria on campus, and dozens of cafes and restaurants are located near the school grounds.

Los Angeles and Hollywood in particular attract millions of tourists.: studying here is interesting and exciting. Students can communicate with famous actors, receive advice and guidance from them, stroll through the sights of the city, learning about its history and culture. There are many excursions offered here, but students are unlikely to want to leave Hollywood, because for many it has been a dream to come here since childhood.

Students obtain practical skills using cutting-edge technologies from industry leaders such as Avid, Sony, ARRI, Wacom, SSL, Neve, and many others.

The academic calendar of LA Film School covers almost the entire year, as the duration of undergraduate and associate degree courses varies. The academic year starts in September and lasts until June, classes are conducted on weekdays: from Monday to Friday. On weekends and holidays, students have a rest during the seasonal vacations.

The list of additional expenses will include registration and administrative fees, technology fees, customized educational materials, extracurricular activities, and personal expenses. The US film school provides students with a lot of equipment for acquiring skills, so they do not need to buy it themselves.

Applicants must fill out a registration form, provide the required documents and pay the application fee. The Admissions Committee invites candidates for an interview and possible audition, after which it makes a decision on admission.

To date, LA Film School has completed the training of dozens of talented professionals who have built careers both in the United States and internationally:

The general admission criteria for foreign applicants will be:

• Personal documents: passport, medical insurance and financial certificates, visa or residence permit,
• Secondary education certificate, transcripts,
• Language exam results: TOEFL (from 61), IELTS (from 6.0).

If a candidate plans to enroll in a bachelor's degree program, he will need knowledge at the TOEFL level from 79, IELTS from 6.5. Some degrees may require a portfolio, individual achievements.

The college offers several types of financial aid: scholarships, grants, loans, and a work-study program. Scholarships and grants are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and success in developing talent, a loan can be applied for in a federal organization, and the Work + Study program will help to combine attending classes and gaining applied skills.
