Stott's College was founded in 1883 and has stood the test of time, over the past 138 years has developed into a high-quality private educational institution focused on the ever-changing needs of industry and students.
What began almost 140 years ago as a small college for the teaching of typing in Melbourne has today evolved into a college that offers high school programs, diploma courses and undergraduate programs. In 1883, Stott's College was founded as the first Australian institution to offer specialist business training.
He was one of the first to introduce distance learning during the Second World War.
In 2013, Stott College, melbourne Language Centre and Front School of Cooking officially merged, with Acknowledge Education as the parent company.

The VCE is issued on behalf of the Victorian Government to students upon successful completion of grades 11 and 12 and allows them to enter higher education institutions.
