St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University is a university that produces specialists in the field of pharmacy. The basis of the university was the Petrograd State Chemical and Pharmaceutical Institute, opened in 1919. In the summer of 1922, the first specialists were graduated from the institution, five of whom received the degree of Candidate of Sciences.
In 2019, the university celebrated its centenary. At the moment, it consists of only two faculties: pharmaceutical and industrial drug technology. There is a pharmaceutical college at the university.

Students live in two dormitories. First of all, foreign, non-resident full-time students are presented for settlement.
