Early Years Foundation Stage

Primary School

Secondary School

  • Age of students – from 12 years old,
  • The term of study is five years.

The middle school curriculum, based on the National Education System of England, is adapted to living in the UAE and takes into account the school's multinational student community. It consists of two stages:

  • Key Stage: Grades 7-9

Students follow a schedule that covers a wide range of subjects in line with other leading international British schools. For three years, they choose the disciplines that they would like to take at the IGCSE stage in grades 10-11. The main subjects will be mathematics, English, natural sciences, Arabic and Islamic culture, and additional disciplines will be geography, history, Spanish and French, drama, art and others.

  • Key Stage 4: Grades 10-11

In grades 10-11, students follow a schedule of core and optional subjects that is almost identical to Key Stage 3. In addition to the disciplines described above, psychology, economics, business, social sciences and others will become available. This approach will allow high school students to prepare for the transition to the Sixth Form, where they will have to create an individual curriculum and pass the specialized BTEC and A-Level exams.

Sixth Form, Graduating Classes

  • Age of students – from 16 years old,
  • The period of study is two years.

Students in Year 12 and 13 create a personalised curriculum by selecting A-Level and BTEC subjects from an extensive list. A-Level disciplines will give students in-depth theoretical knowledge, the opportunity to gain research skills, and BTEC will provide applied skills, understanding of the future profession in practice. Subjects of the two classifications can be combined, obtaining both knowledge and skills in those areas that are interesting to the student.
