Silesian University (Slezská Univerzita v Opavě, SU) was founded in 1989 and is the state higher education institution of the Czech Republic. The university provides students with a comprehensive education in the field of economic and humanitarian disciplines in three levels of training: undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. SU is one of the top 20 best universities in the country and is a member of the following associations:

To enter the university it is necessary to provide a document on the existing education (certificate of secondary education / bachelor’s diploma / master’s diploma). Depending on the requirements of a faculty or program of a certain degree, applicants must undergo an admission procedure, which may include written tests or an oral exam, which are relevant to the applicant’s field of study.
