Silesian University (Slezská Univerzita v Opavě, SU) was founded in 1989 and is the state higher education institution of the Czech Republic. The university provides students with a comprehensive education in the field of economic and humanitarian disciplines in three levels of training: undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. SU is one of the top 20 best universities in the country and is a member of the following associations:
