Scarisbrick Hall School was founded in 1964 by Charles Oxley, who opened three schools for school-age children during his lifetime. Based in a beautiful Gothic mansion, Scarisbrick Hall School went through difficult times, but gradually expanded to offer some of the best academic facilities for the younger generation today. Today, about 600 students study here, and this is only a small part of those who want to get an education at Scarisbrick Hall School: every year, the school's admissions committee receives hundreds of applications from students who are attracted by a modern approach to teaching, a wide range of extracurricular activities for the development of talents, and high achievements of graduates. The educational process in Scarisbrick Hall is quite strict, diverse and rich, thanks to which students receive a high-quality base of knowledge and skills, become competitive applicants from leading universities around the world. Every six weeks, teachers communicate with parents to provide a personalized report about their child, discuss issues of concern and plan further tactics to achieve the goals.

The academic system of Scarisbrick Hall School covers all stages of schooling: from preschool groups to graduating classes.

Due to the fact that the mansion and its territory are included in the register of historical monuments, the campus strictly monitors the impact on the environment: the level of air pollution near it is 1 point, which corresponds to the lowest level, and is considered an excellent result.

The school's teaching grounds were used for the filming of the Channel 4 series Utopia in 2012, the film "There's Only One Jimmy Grimble" in 2000.

Scarisbrick Hall School is located in the country estate of the same name, near the village of Scarisbrick in Lancashire, England. The mansion with 150 rooms is listed in the register of architectural monuments of the first category, and the adjacent territory of 50 acres is included in the register of historical parks and gardens of the second category. The main attraction of the campus is the 100-foot tower, which became the prototype of Big Ben.

Preserving the historical appearance, Scarisbrick Hall has completely modernized the interior, equipping classrooms with modern interactive whiteboards, science laboratories with technological devices for experiments, computer rooms with high-performance PCs. For each educational stage, special rooms have been created on the campus that correspond to the age development and interests of the pupils. For example, outdoor playgrounds and napping areas have been prepared for children of preschool groups, and small classes of self-study, group and individual work have been prepared for high school students. 

Many educational and extracurricular activities take place in the fresh air, the Forest School is equipped for them - a specialized area that is completely safe for students of all ages. Under the guidance of teachers, children master various applied skills that will be useful to them in real life, learn safety rules, and respect for the environment. Sports training and competitions take place both in a multifunctional hall in one of the buildings, and in an open area, and specialized studios, halls for performances and rehearsals are equipped for creative areas.

Scarisbrick Hall School has its own bus fleet, including several 17-seater and 22-seater minibuses: they serve 11 routes, providing students with fast and safe transportation from home to classes and back.

The academic year consists of three trimesters:

Classes and extracurricular activities are held on weekdays in the morning and afternoon. Holidays are provided on weekends, on national and international holidays, during the seasonal vacations between semesters.

Applicants are invited to attend two trial days to participate in classes, meet teachers and explore the infrastructure of the educational institution. Staff will invite candidates to take entrance tests in core subjects, the results of which influence the admission decision. After receiving an official invitation to study, you should pay a deposit and then arrive on campus to start classes.

The admission of new pupils is limited by the small size of the school, but the staff considers all incoming applications. Scarisbrick Hall is considered a selective school, selecting students based on academic knowledge and potential.

In 2020, high school students achieved exceptional results with 85% of grades at the A*-B level, more than 60% of the grades were at the A*/A level with an overall passing score of 100%. All students received places at the universities of their choice, many of them entered prestigious universities of the Russell Group.

Before applying, Scarisbrick Hall staff recommend attending a trial two academic days to make an informed decision: while the future student will participate in classes and extracurricular activities, teachers will assess their level of academic, language skills. Trial days are an important stage of assessment for the admission of applicants.

Candidates must provide personal documents, academic certificates from the previous place of study; Admission will be based on entrance exams.

Students from the same family can take advantage of the discount system, which involves a reduction in the cost of the program for the second child by 5%, for the third - by 15%, for the fourth - by 20%.
