College history begins in the 1920s when an immigrant from Scotland Mary Irwin Robertson creates a successful school of stenographers. The school continued to develop after her death, becoming the School of Secretaries, then Career College. In 1993, the college received the name of its founder - by this time the educational institution already had higher education programs.
In 2001, there was a reunion with the Middle Western School of Business and Technology, after which the college had new opportunities and new campuses, which are located in two provinces of Canada - Manitoba and Alberta.
