Summer English Course

The seasonal program takes place during the summer holidays, offering flexibility in choosing the duration and start date of training. Students can expect an intensive curriculum: 40 English lessons, almost daily daytime activities, evening events on campus and several excursions each week. In addition to the main program, there is a mini-tour with a visit to Boston for two days (with overnight stay).
In English lessons, students focus on reading, speaking, listening and writing skills. Ramapo College Summer Camp (New York & Boston) β an international summer camp offering a rich program of English language learning and exploration of the region's attractions. Students aged 10 to 18 with any level of English proficiency are accepted for training.
Students in the summer program can expect English lessons conducted by qualified native teachers on the campus of one of the country's popular colleges β Ramapo College. It is located near Manhattan, allowing students to enjoy both the tranquility of the suburbs and easy access to numerous attractions and cultural sites in the region. To make the summer holidays exciting and memorable for pupils, the course includes walking and bus tours, as well as a number of entertainment events on campus.
Throughout their time at camp, students will be in an English-speaking environment, which will improve their level of English and strengthen their confidence in using their knowledge in various academic and everyday situations.

The college residence where summer program participants live offers several types of rooms:

Training takes place on the educational grounds of Ramapo College, which occupies 300 acres of countryside in the small town of Mahwah. Its infrastructure meets modern trends in education, offering students spacious classrooms, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a residence hall, a dining hall, and other premises for study, leisure and recreation.
The campus is located near iconic attractions — it takes only 30 minutes to drive to Manhattan.
Admission dates and extra charges
The summer program takes place in June-July, offering students a choice of start date and duration — classes are organized every two weeks, with the length of stay at the camp being two, three or four weeks. Each week, students follow a busy schedule with morning English lessons, daytime and evening entertainment activities, and some days are dedicated to full- and half-day excursions. A mini-tour visiting Boston can be added to the program both during the course and closer to the end.
The cost of the course covers expenses for accommodation in a full board format, teaching materials, on-campus and off-site activities. Additional costs will be required for administrative fees and deposits, medical insurance, flights, personal expenses.
Enrolment process
Those wishing to attend the summer program must fill out a registration form and provide documents, after which camp staff will provide all necessary information and conduct an online test to check their current language level.
