Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov (Pirogov Russian National Research University) is a leading scientific and educational medical center that educates pharmacists, doctors, social workers.

The history of the educational institution began in 1906, when the Moscow Higher Women's Courses of Medical Education were opened. The university survived the Great Patriotic War, educating military doctors and nurses.

Every year, 12,000 students study here in the areas of higher professional education, another 10,000 students - under the programs of additional professional education.

Pirogov RNITU is the only university in Russia that has double international diploma programs.

RNITU named after Pirogov conducts active career guidance work with applicants: cooperation is concluded with more than 50 schools in Moscow and the Moscow region. Classes are held in the Center for Technological Support of Education, in assembly halls at the event "University Saturdays". The university has preparatory courses, circles, schools for high school students. Each group of applicants is provided with a tutor accompanying them to lectures and events, creating a comfortable environment and helping adaptation.
