Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier University is a public scientific, cultural and professional institution (EPSCP) with educational, scientific, administrative and financial autonomy. The name of the university pays homage to Paul Sabatier, a scientist born in Carcassonne in 1854. After receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1912, Paul Sabatier became Dean of the Faculty of Sciences in Toulouse and a member of the Academy of Sciences.
