Novosibirsk State Agrarian University (NSAU) is a higher educational institution, a major scientific and educational center of the Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions.

The basis of the existing institution was the Novosibirsk Agricultural Institute, founded in 1936. Five years later, the first specialists were graduated from the institute - zootechnicians and agronomists. In 1991, the Institute received the title of Agrarian University.

In recent years, about 6200 full-time students have been studying at THE NSAU, about 6000 - by correspondence. The teaching staff includes more than 600 highly qualified specialists.

Full-time and part-time students live in 10 dormitories, six of which are located on campus. Residential buildings of corridor, entrance, sectional types are fully furnished, showers and toilets, kitchens, halls for self-preparation and rest are prepared in them. Canteens, buffets of the dormitories provide students with breakfasts, lunches and dinners, drinks and snacks, pastries for an additional fee.

The monthly cost of living depends on the form of education (full-time / part-time, paid / free), the level of education (bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies), ranges from 426 to 1140 rubles.

The base rests mainly in the summer, but heating batteries are installed in the houses. The cost of living will cost 500 rubles. per day, children under 12 years old - free of charge.

The academic year consists of two semesters: autumn, spring and two sessions held in summer and winter. Training in all forms and stages of education begins in the fall and lasts until the beginning of summer. Full-time classes are held from 9:00 to 20:50 from Monday to Friday.
