The famous Hungarian university University of Debrecen invites you to a new bachelor's program Environmental Engineering BSc — the start of classes in September 2025!
What is the program about?
- It prepares specialists in environmental sustainability and protection, which is a highly sought-after field today.
- Students develop analytical skills, learn to monitor and regulate environmental problems, using, among other things, engineering solutions,
- Focus on energy efficiency, sustainable use of resources,
- Correct, safe waste disposal, pollution reduction,
- A variety of environmental protection technologies are being studied.
What can graduates do?
- In the industrial sector (reduction of emissions and waste, proper disposal, sustainable production methods),
- In government and governing bodies (environmental policy, regulations and public initiatives),
- As consultants, in innovative projects and start-ups (e.g. as environmental impact assessors).
The course will take 7 semesters (210 ECTS credits) and is taught entirely in English. The cost is $7,500 per academic year. For admission, you will need a school certificate, entrance exams in mathematics, physics/chemistry are provided.
