Nagasaki University

The famous higher educational institution of Japan is the University of Nagasaki (Nagasaki University). It was founded in 1949 through the unification of several Nagasaki educational institutions: a medical college, an institute of economics, a general and junior high school, and a higher school.

• Hōdō Nakamura (politician and current governor of Nagasaki prefecture in the Kyushu region of Japan).

To date, the president of the university is the famous Shigeru Katamina.

The main campus of Nagasaki University is territorially located in the picturesque city of Nagasaki. The infrastructure of the university includes two famous research institutes:

• Institute of Tropical Medicine;
• Institute of Atomic Bomb Diseases.

The institution is equipped with a rich library. All foreign citizens are offered a comfortable furnished hostel. For admission, the applicant must pass an entrance exam, which results in enrollment.
