MWS Toronto English Camps (MWS Toronto Summer Children's Camp) provides students from all over the world the opportunity to have a fun and useful vacation. The camp is located on the campus of the University of Toronto in the heart of the city and is divided into three age groups: 7-10 years, 11-13 years and 14-17 years; the course lasts from 2 to 5 weeks (to choose from). The program is designed in such a way that students and adolescents can learn from it the maximum benefit, tighten the level of the language, learn a lot of new things and relax. The education includes language lessons, sports and creative activities, recreation and activities. Teachers and staff find an individual approach to each, help to disclose talents and solve all current issues. Extra-curricular life is an important part of the camp - students have the opportunity to choose from a large number of different activities and hobbies. The camp employs professional coaches and mentors, camp staff accompany students on excursions and field trips.

The summer camp for students program (Toronto English Camps)

The camp is designed for students  aged 7 to 17 years and includes a language course, sports and creative pursuits and an active extra-curricular life. The camp is divided into three broad groups by age:

  • Junior Camp (7-10 years)
  • Intermediate Camp (11-13)
  • Senior Camp (14-17 years).

Student are divided into classes according to the level of language proficiency, which is determined in the interview: classes are held in small groups of up to 12 people from Monday to Friday, usually in the morning. All programs are carefully designed and created taking into account many decades of successful work. Students perform tasks on developing and improving the basic skills of linguistics: grammar and vocabulary, reading, listening, writing and speaking. Much attention is paid to the development of oral speech and the ability to correctly, accurately express their thoughts in written and oral form, in addition, special exercises are carried out to reduce and eliminate the accent. The process of active language development is facilitated by a complete immersion system - in the camp, students are not just engaged in lessons, but actively develop language in communication and everyday life. To consolidate the material, all students work on creative projects: a newspaper, a presentation, a theatrical scene, and others. Teachers of the camp have exceptionally high qualification and rich experience of working with students , they find an individual approach to each student and help to reveal potential. Classes are held in the format of a live exchange of views, and not mechanical memorization, which facilitates the rapid assimilation of material and overall development.

Accommodation, housing and food

At the time of vacation programs, all pupils are accommodated in student residences, which have a high level of comfort and are equipped with everything necessary for life and study. Students  live in single or double rooms, equipped with a full set of furniture and household appliances. The bathrooms are designed for several people, there are common kitchen areas, living rooms with TV and sofas, the building has laundry facilities, common areas for recreation and games and other communal amenities, security and safety systems are in place, staff are staffed ready to quickly solve everything emerging issues. All rooms are equipped with Internet access, television is connected in the living rooms, and premises are cleaned. The level of comfort and professionalism of the staff helps students feel at home.

All participants in the camp receive a balanced diet several times a day. The dining room prepares dishes from the freshest products, there is a choice of special menus and diets. At excursions and on-site events, meals are also organized for restaurants or cafes.
