Most luxurious board in the world belongs to Africa!

Most luxurious board in the world belongs to Africa!

Three-quarters of a century, not every person manages to live - is it a matter of talking about business? The situation is particularly volatile in transport-related industries. Take airlines – over the past ten years, the usual operators have become a thing of the past or united in mega-alliances. However, there are exceptions.

One of them is the subject of our today's article.

This year marked the 75th anniversary of Ethiopian Airlines, the most respected and oldest ever-present company, celebrating the anniversary of the first regular flight from Addis Ababa to Cairo in early June.

Unlike most West African and Central African companies (even from oil-producing countries), Ethiopians can boast of excellent service, an extensive route network (more than 130 destinations on five continents, of which at least a hundred are passenger). And their aircraft are the latest, the latest technology created - the average age of the board in five years can be the envy of another European company with huge revenue.

The basis of the fleet are "Boeing": 27 787-x, a dozen 777-x and thirty-two 737-x. There are also sixteen Airbus project A350 and 28 "Bombardier Kew-400" for short-haul flights.

Flagships of African aviation

The most modern, best and beautiful aircraft of this company should be considered the 787-e. This is the latest Boeing aircraft, the base in a series of boards with a wide fuselage. It is designed for long-distance flights. There are 24 seats on board for business class and 248 for economy class.

Especially pleased with the policy on the part of luggage - for example, in a more prestigious and spacious cabin you can take two pieces of hand luggage for seven kilos, and in the economy - one. But cameras, handbags, computers and the like, as well as alcohol packed from deutifre can be conducted for free. Each place in the business is accompanied by two places of 32 kilos or three - 23. Economic put "two to twenty-three" - that is, taking into account the luggage, the economy pack can take with it as much as fifty kilos!

This, however, on international flights - on those within Ethiopia, the restrictions are slightly more stringent: thirty and twenty, respectively. A similar policy applies on all other boards of the company - up to the short-haul "Brazilians".

Amazing comfort

Seats in these aircraft can be turned into a luxurious bed by pressing a couple of buttons, which is very comfortable for long flights to Africa and back. Those who do not sleep on the road can resort to on-board entertainment systems: each seat in the back is equipped with a large media screen. It is controlled from the remote.

By the way, the economy also has entertainment media content systems, and each chair is equipped with USB ports, and traditional socket nests are hidden under the seats near the windows. The upholstery is in national colors, very nice. Some places - with an increased interval, for owners of high growth and long hind limbs.

The windows of the aircraft are not equipped with curtains, shading is done digitally: in the glass there is a layer of polarizing foil, which changes the transparency depending on the voltage applied to it. This system is controlled both individually and from the conductor console.

On board tasty and well-fed - there are European dishes, and African, more precisely - from Ethiopia. We recommend you to taste traditional local tortillas ynjira.

Ethiopians fly from Domodedovo to their capital three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with one intermediate stop at the airport of the Greek capital.
