For those who have already completed their undergraduate studies, Canadian colleges offer a variety of postgraduate programs - Postgraduate Certificates / Diploma Programs lasting 1-2 years. Studying on these programs, students receive an additional profession, close to the one they have, or a completely new profession, if there is a question about changing the specialty.
Unlike universities, colleges do not lead students to research or research activities. Colleges provide practical knowledge and skills that are highly valued by future employers. Study here is of an applied nature with the possibility of internship (paid / unpaid) for one semester. Many colleges help graduate students with further employment through career guidance and employment centers on their campuses.
