LTL Chengde accept students from different countries from 18 years old, offering 100% immersion in the language and national culture.  LTL Chengde is a studying in a real Chinese city, allowing you to improve language skills productively in a short time.

LTL Chengde supports a full-fledged immersion system, so the majority of students (about 95%) live with Chinese host families. LTL staff have been working with host families for years, so they are confident that students will be safe with their temporary mentors and roommates. All host families are prepared to communicate with foreigners who do not yet have enough knowledge of the Chinese language.

International students in the family house are provided with a separate bedroom with a private or shared bathroom, bedding, towels, wireless Internet access. In addition, temporary residents will have access to common areas: kitchen, living room. Students either wash things themselves, or the owners of the house do it. Students eat with their families at home, but the hosts are ready to take into account the individual eating habits of guests.

Another accommodation option is to rent a house with a Chinese neighbor. The rental apartments have private bedrooms, private or shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen, a living room and a washing machine. Common areas are regularly cleaned by cleaning staff, wireless Internet is available on the territory of the apartments. Students and their neighbors cook food on their own.

Students have free time both on weekdays and on weekends. They can use this time for additional teacher-led learning formats – walk around the city accompanied by a teacher who will additionally practice them in real time, or they can have fun on their own within or even outside the city. In Chengde, you can take a walk in the park, dance in a club, go to a restaurant, cinema or karaoke. Students living with host families can host house parties, socialize with their friends and practice the language even more actively.

Additional entertainment formats in Chengde: horseback riding, tours of the Summer Palace, picnics.

• In a free time, students also continuously practice their language skills, because there are no English-speaking interlocutors in their surroundings and in the whole city!
• Formats of personal walks with guides-teachers are available, who show foreigners the best places in Chengde and at the same time teach them to read signs in Chinese and communicate with locals.
• The city is clean and not overloaded with personal transport, so there are no traffic jams, and public transport runs regularly.
• Course organizers stay in touch with students around the clock, even if they live with host families.

Classes for those who are already a little familiar with the Chinese language or even have experience working or studying in China start every Monday. Beginners in Chinese must first agree on the dates of their arrival with the school organizers.

Foreign students who want to study in Chengde, for a better and smoother immersion in the culture and language, should first take simplified Chinese courses in Beijing or Shanghai - this is an optional, although desirable condition from the school.
