The prestigious Lemania College was founded in 1908 by Dr. Paul du Pasquier: this is the third generation of the family business (international schools).

Today, the Swiss international college is located in hospitable Lausanne, in the French-speaking region of Switzerland: it is an intellectual and university center of the region, which reprents itself an excellent place for study and recreation, friendly and welcoming Inhabitants, impressive, extraordinary nature and mild climate. Lemania College is located in the heart of Lausanne, in a quiet, green area, just a 10-minute walk from Central Station and the large Plaza de San Francisco shopping center. You can get to Geneva and Zurich airports in 45 and 145 minutes, respectively, regular trains run.

Branch directors personally accompany each new student; an individual approach and consultations on choosing an academic path are practiced. Classes are small: the maximum class size for the international diploma program is 15 students. The progress of Matura students is assessed monthly.

Pedagogical principles include:

Many international diploma program teachers hold doctoral degrees, and all regularly undergo professional development. Language courses are taught by native-speaker teachers in small groups. Teachers work in accordance with the AVDEP convention, in effect since 1995.

The CFC program (daytime) consists of 4 semesters, 2 of which are full-time internships at a company. The school itself acts as a training enterprise (entreprise formatrice). Evening programs include typing with certification (95% accuracy, 65 words/min) and professional profile diagnostics with a PersProfile expert upon enrollment. Vocational training: daytime courses — 6 sessions per day (8:15–15:15); evening courses — 18:30–21:40.

Founder Dr. Paul Du Pasquier played a key role in establishing AVDEP and became its first president; he also founded CREP (the pension fund for teachers of private schools in the canton of Vaud) and the family allowance fund — before the state made them compulsory.

The school's motto is «E pluribus lux» («From the many — light»). It was founded on November 21, 1908 (this date is celebrated annually), and the current building on Chemin de Préville was officially opened on October 15, 1913.

The founder, Dr. Paul Du Pasquier, was born on August 5, 1879 in Colombier (canton of Neuchâtel), received his doctorate in natural sciences from the Zurich Polytechnic Institute, and was bilingual (French/German). In the 1950s, management of the school passed to his sons Jean and Eric Du Pasquier, and the school is now led by Jean-Pierre Du Pasquier — a representative of the third generation already.

The international diploma program has welcomed more than 40 nationalities among its students since its launch in 2013.

Lausanne is the Olympic capital of the world and has been recognized as the best city in the world with a population of under 200,000 residents by The Independent (2019). There is an interesting tradition of "secret addresses": for more than 100 years, Lémania students have been passing on to each other the best places in Lausanne and the surrounding area!

Lemania Swiss Group of Schools includes six member schools: Ecole Lémania Lausanne, Ecole bilingue de la Suisse romande, Business School Lausanne, Institut Domi, Collège Pierre Viret, Summer Camp, as well as partners: ESM, Campus Buissonnets-Montani and Verbier International Schools. Institut Domi has been working in the field of distance learning for over 50 years. The school collaborates with Business School Lausanne in the area of entrepreneurship for evening commercial programs, and L21 Lab provides EdTech startups with a classroom as a "test bench" for developing solutions with students aged 3 to 25.

For international pupils - boys and girls - separate comfortable residences are prepared, the windows of which open a view of the Alpine peaks or on the surface of Lake Geneva. This is a cozy room for 1-3 people (conveniences are common, the board is accepted by children from 15 years and older), daily cleaning is provided, access to the laundry is provided. All children have free access to living rooms for rest with TV and board games, to the Internet, they are constantly looked after by qualified educators who guarantee their safety around the clock and are always ready to help with any issue.

Lemania College meals are organized on the full boardi basis (4 times a day), according to preliminary request it is possible to organize a special dietary table for the individual student.

Graduates of Lemania College consistently demonstrate strong academic results. The average score for the international diploma program is 32–33 points; the average language score among students is 6 points (the world average is 5.42). Candidates for the Swiss maturity certificate also show excellent academic performance.

38% of international diploma program graduates go on to EPFL, EHL, or other Swiss universities. After obtaining commercial diplomas (full-time courses), graduates may enter ESM (the Higher School of Management and Communications in Geneva), CEFCO, or hotel schools. Many graduates hold prominent positions in various sectors.

Lemania College entrants must provide a report card with grades from the previous place of study, letters of recommendation from teachers and the class teacher, and also pass a personal interview and confirm a sufficiently high level of the foreign language (English or French).

The Paul Du Pasquier Foundation (Fondation Paul Du Pasquier), established in 1983, provides financial assistance to cover part of the tuition fees at École Lémania. The decision to award a scholarship is made taking into account the merits and financial needs of the candidate: the key criteria are motivation, academic performance, talents and achievements. The scholarship is renewable upon compliance with the established criteria. Scholarship information is strictly confidential. The candidate's parents provide information about the family's economic and financial situation.
