Haut-Lac International Bilingual School opened its doors in Vevey in 1993 for its first 13 students. The founding directors, who are also teachers, supervisors and bus drivers, took up the training. Today Haut-Lac invites children from 18 months to 18 years old to study in a multicultural school with a family atmosphere.

Bilingualism, new technologies, sports and the arts form the backbone of Haut-Lac's personalized education system, which encourages students to speak French and English on a daily basis. The educational institution accepts about 600 boys and girls from more than 47 countries, and Les Marronniers kindergarten takes care of children from 18 months to 3 years. Despite this impressive development, the school has retained the family spirit on which the daily learning practice is built, with four founders leading a team focused on international education and personal improvement.

As an Athlete Education Center (AFEC) accredited by the World Sports Academy, Haut-Lac provides young athletes with a flexible IB Middle Years (MYP) and IB Diploma Program (DP) schedule to meet the demands of an athlete's intense schedule.

The program is designed for beginners and professional athlete students who represent their sport regionally, nationally or internationally, who wish to study IB MYP or IB DP.

The curriculum enables learners to develop versatile lifelong learning skills, not just accumulating facts and figures. In line with the IB and School philosophy, it encourages students to be active, curious, passionate and independent learners. Schoolchildren learn to work together, communicate effectively, recognize and respect similarities, differences, value nature and the world around them.

The bilingual or English program explores topics that encourage curiosity, discovery, literacy, knowledge of mathematics, and versatile skills.

Swiss Bilingual Cycle (preparation for the Swiss public school entrance exams at the end of MYP4)

The Swiss bilingual cycle is studied in parallel with the Middle Years Program (MYP). Teenagers 11-14 years old receive a double diploma, can enroll in the IB program for high school students, in the cantonal gymnasium.

International Baccalaureate Career-Related Program (IB CP)

The International Career-Related Baccalaureate Program (IBCP) is designed for students who wish to develop as professionals in the last two years of high school.

IBCP is an international education system that combines the values ​​of IB into a unique program to meet the needs of students in vocational education.
