Gyeonggi University was founded in 1947 as a kindergarten at school, but after 10 years - in 1947 - it became a higher educational institution. The university today is three campuses, 17,000 students, 11 faculties and 63 study programs.

Facilities and equipment at Kyonggi University
All students in need get a place in the hostel - this is a comfortable five-story building with four-bed rooms.
Students who have not received a place in the hostel and live in the city, in order to save money, can use the free university buses that run through the central stops of the city. The schedule is available on the Kengi website.
Since 1983, the first museum of rural life in Korea has been operating at the university, which offers a unique collection of paintings and crafts.

In order to become a student at Kanga University , an applicant must provide:
- Certificate of general secondary education with certified translation
- Copies of the identity documents of the applicant and parents or legal representatives
- An essay on how an applicant sees his future
