The course is aimed at improving the key skills in the English language required for the IELTS exam.

The program of King's College London , designed for a minimum of 8 weeks, allows you to develop the skills necessary for the effective delivery of the Cambridge examinations, to prepare for tests in standard and intensive mode. The course provides for the choice of load: 20/28 academic hours per week.

English Language Courses

General English language programmes are available on the Kings College London campus throughout the year. Upon admission, students are divided into groups based on their initial level of knowledge in order to jointly improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

There are two formats to choose from: standard and intensive. Both options have the same duration, allowing students to adjust the curriculum for themselves - from 2 to 23 weeks of attending classes, individual meetings with the teacher. If desired, students can receive not just a certificate, but a graduation diploma, having studied for 24-40 weeks or more.

English plus, Profile English

Specialized English language courses offer students the opportunity to improve their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills along with immersion in a scientific field of interest to them. You can choose from:

• Business, Marketing, Finance,
• Art, design,
• Jurisprudence.

The curriculum consists of 28 lessons per week, during which students will master the basics of the profile in English. Through regular communication in English, the use of interactive materials and attendance at additional electives, they will receive a strong knowledge base that will allow them to continue their studies in their specialty and advance in their careers.

UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design

• The duration of training is one year.

Since 2021, Kings College London has been offering an accredited UAL Level 3, 4 diploma programme in Art and Design. The qualification will prepare students for entry to art universities in the UK and abroad, build a competitive portfolio and gain the skills required to successfully continue their studies.

The curriculum consists of academic sections, each of which will be based on practice. Students use a variety of materials to improve their creativity, attending electives and one-on-one classes with teachers and visiting professionals. The weekly teaching load will be 21 academic hours.

International High School Programme

• Age – from 15 to 17 years,
• Start dates – January, September,
• The term of study is one to three semesters.

The International High School Program is aimed at international students who wish to pursue an academic path through an English-language educational system. Depending on age, students will be able to prepare for GCSE or A-Level by studying an individually tailored curriculum.

Science, mathematics and English are mandatory for study, and in addition to them, students will be able to collect a personalized set of disciplines: art and design, physical education, geography, history, politics and others. In parallel with mastering the curriculum, students will improve their reading and writing skills in English, regularly practice speaking and enrich their vocabulary.

During the training, pupils will stay with a host family, participate in many entertainment and cultural events.

Summer Course: Experience London

• The duration of training is from one week.

The summer program offers students from 14 to 17 years old a busy weekly schedule with 15 hours of English language study, a variety of excursions and campus activities, comfortable accommodation, balanced meals and comprehensive support from teachers.

The course is suitable for students with any level of English proficiency. At the beginning of training, children are divided into groups based on their knowledge in order to gradually develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Through regular sports and creative activities, they practice their speaking skills, replenish their vocabulary and gain confidence in using the English language. Off-site events are also great for learning about the culture, history and sights of London. During full-day trips, students will visit places such as:

• Brighton, Sea Life Centre,
• Canterbury
• Cambridge
• Oxford
• Windsor and Windsor Castle.

Tours for several hours will take place in places such as:

• Covent Garden,
• The London Eye (a huge Ferris wheel),
• Thames Cruise,
• Museum of Natural History,
• Piccadilly Circus,
• Greenwich
• West End,
• Shopping on Oxford Street,
• Camden Town Market,
• Museum of Science.

Most students are allowed to explore the city in unaccompanied groups, but they are required to return home by a certain time. Children are always safe, have contact numbers of the center's staff and host families, and can ask for an escort to any place they are interested in.
