Educational process

Ithaca College London Center's unique curriculum combines courses on relevant topics with a British approach to teaching and British learning expectations. Students choose courses from both the "cultural core" – music, theatre, literature and art history, and the "modern core" – which includes business, communications, history, politics, sociology and sports studies. There are several courses available that satisfy the integrative requirements of the core curriculum on a variety of topics.

Students have a unique opportunity to enroll in classes that take full advantage of the city's cultural and historical resources. Such groups visit art and history museums throughout the city, theatrical performances, and go on tours of London's famous sports venues.

The college is open from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Ithaca's base London campus is an elegantly restored Victorian home in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The London Centre has classrooms, a small library and a comfortable shared lounge, two computer labs with internet access and wireless internet access for laptop owners. Enrolment process

To become a student of Ithaca College London Center, a candidate needs to take a few simple steps:

  • Choose a course and apply for admission online. In parallel with the application, the candidate will need to register with the college system and obtain their Ithaca College Netpass credentials.
  • An official report on the results of the final grades from the previous educational institution (certificate or diploma) must be attached to the application.
  • Pay a non-refundable entry fee.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent no later than 2 weeks after the deadline for submission.
  • Accepted students at Ithaca College London Center are required to attend an orientation program – these are mandatory meetings. The date and time will be indicated in the admission email.
  • Pay a non-refundable deposit to confirm your college placement. It must be deposited approximately 5-6 weeks after the application deadline, the exact date will be indicated in the admission email.

Students who are not college students must submit a report on the results of final grades from the previous institution.

Any disciplinary offence in the country will be recorded by the Judicial Authorities and referred to the college. If the cumulative GPA is below 2.5 or the student is placed on disciplinary probation, enrollment at Ithaca College London Center will be revoked.

For international students, one of the main requirements is the level of English proficiency (English Language Final Exam for Grade 4 or higher with a GPA of 3.2).

  • Fred Camden London Assistance Grant – A limited number of grants are awarded on a competitive basis to college students who are in good academic standing, have high financial need, and will attend the Ithaca College London Center.
  • The Studin Sisters London Center Scholarship - The Studin sisters, both graduates of Ithaca College, have established a scholarship for participants in the Ithaca College London Center program. The award will be given each fall, spring, and summer semester to a student with a high level of financial need.
