The specialized program is aimed at bachelor's degree applicants. It stipulates the studying of several disciplines, including mathematics, popular culture, and English. It includes a course and subjects from the area chosen by the applicant.

Academic English Program

The intensive English language course is aimed at supporting international students who wish to enroll in higher education programs at CSU. The curriculum, which includes three levels of linguistics, focuses on students acquiring important basic skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Regardless of the student's initial level of English proficiency, they will achieve the necessary entrance requirements by the end of their studies.
The courses take place during each semester, and 8 weeks of full-time classes are required to master the level. Under the guidance of experienced native teachers, students in small groups will be able to adapt more quickly to the English-speaking environment, get comfortable in the academic atmosphere of the university, acquire social skills and pass one of the most important entrance exams.

International Year One is a special adaptation program for foreign students wishing to enter INTO Colorado State University. To participate, you must have a diploma of school education and a certain level of English, studying lasts from 1 to 3 semesters (the choice of duration depends on the level of the language). The course starts three times a year. The advantage of International Year One is that students after graduation immediately move to the next semester in the Bachelor's Degree. - Academic English. Participants in 2 and 3 semester courses spend a considerable amount of time developing their language skills and raising their level. Classes are conducted by professional certified specialists, and are built around the main sections of linguistics: grammar, listening, writing and speaking. Students learn to correctly and accurately use English in the academic environment and everyday life. During the studying the level of language is significantly increased.
- A set of disciplines and subjects are studied in the direction, including standard university and special adapted courses that are part of the studying program in the chosen direction. Students of the International Year One receive the same knowledge as undergraduate students.
Development of university teaching and research skills is provided. American universities make specific demands on what methods of research and study each student should have, and these requirements may present certain difficulties for foreign participants. Courses on this topic are designed to fill the gaps and help students to learn the methods of research for a successful learning process.

INTO Colorado State University offers students a large number of educational programs in a variety of directions. To enter the university you need to have a complete school education and a fairly high level of English; foreign applicants can use the special adaptation course International Year One - to bring their knowledge in compliance with the requirements of the American educational system without increasing the duration of studying.
The standard program lasts 4 years. All students in all specialties choose for themselves two spheres - basic and additional. Major is the main area of study, in simple terms it is the main specialization, which is prescribed in the diploma and the discipline of which occupy the main place in the curriculum. Minor is an additional specialization where students can choose the sciences and areas of interest to them, get serious support in relation to the core area and expand their competencies. Accommodation, meals, prices
Every year, more than 6,000 students are accommodated in 15 residences and four apartment complexes at the university.
There are two types of rooms prepared for living in the residences: public and luxury. The first type involves a double room with access to a bathroom shared by the entire corridor, and the second is a single, double room using a private or shared bathroom for two residents.
Each residential building has a laundry room, recreation areas, and a public kitchen with all necessary appliances for cooking and storing food. The three residential complexes, consisting of two-room apartments, are designed to accommodate graduate students and students over the age of 21 with their families. All rooms are fully furnished, the apartments are equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas. The complexes have laundries and 24-hour support areas, and playgrounds for children have been built in the courtyards of each building.
More than a dozen dining halls and cafeterias are open on CSU's academic grounds, offering a varied menu of hot dishes, salads, sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Many of the establishments offer a discount system, themed menus in honor of the holidays, and catering services for events. Students living in residences and apartment complexes can choose a meal plan for the semester.
Residential Dining Services offers a variety of lunch combinations and additional bonuses, including:

Facilities and equipment at INTO Colorado State University
CSU has invested over $1.6 billion in its campus over the past 10 years. The extensive studying area located in Fort Collins includes open spaces for research and practical activities, sports, creativity and recreation, academic buildings with a variety of facilities: from lecture and conference rooms to specialized laboratories, classrooms for scientific seminars and teamwork.

The academic year at CSU lasts from the end of August to the middle of May, and includes two semesters:

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Foreign applicants who wish to pursue a higher education degree at CSU are required to complete a preparatory course. For admission, you must provide:
- Personal documents: passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit,
- Certificate of complete secondary education with a GPA of at least 3, report cards/Bachelor's diploma with an official transcript,
- Language test results: IELTS (from 5.5), TOEFL (from 60), Duolingo (from 110) or other recognized test,
- Letters of recommendation from teachers from the previous place of study.
The same documents will be required for enrollment in bachelor's and master's programs in the future.
Scholarships INTO Colorado State University

Review about INTO Colorado State University
Very strong technical base, simply ubelievable conditions. In general, a higher education institution is more like a scientific center, research institute. It's so well equipped! I've finished the third year.
We have a few theoretical classes. Much time we spend working in laboratories or doing practical classes. In the agrarian sector, students do not get out from the street at all. In my opinion (and for my profession) this is good, but if you are looking for something more “elite” to sit in a amphitheater in a beautiful suit for a whole day - probably not here. I repeat, the whole university looks more like a club of crazy professors: seriously, even in a local coffee shop you can hear discussions on experiments or publications.
Of the minuses, I note the remoteness of the university. It is clear that they came to learn, and not to hang out, but sometimes I would like to go somewhere. Denver and Colorado Springs are the closest to us, but to get to them, take a leisurely walk or return, you spend a whole weekend, but because of the workload this possibility is not available.
