Program Early Years (Kindergarten)

International School of Modena offers programs for students from any country in the world, starting from 2-3 years of age. Students of 2 years undergo special adaptation - preparation for kindergarten - and the kindergarten itself includes two years, one of which is devoted to active preparation for school. Thus, the full course contains three stages:

• Prekindergarden (Age: 2 years)
• Kindergarden (3 years)
• Transition (4 years).

Education follows the strict and exacting standards of the international baccalaureate - the Primary Years Program, which in itself already serves as a guarantor of quality. In addition, the school includes in the training the standards of the Italian state program of the initial years (Scuola d'infanzia), which helps the Italian participants simultaneously receive both international education and fulfill the standards of the national system. Children are in small groups, which allows teachers to pay individual attention to everyone and adjust curricula in accordance with the wishes of the child. Teachers have exceptionally high level of qualification and rich experience of work, create a cozy home atmosphere in classes, where everyone feels comfortable.

First of all, instruction in kindergarten is aimed at raising children's responsibility, independence, understanding of the world around them and the rules of behavior. Children learn to make independent decisions, to bear responsibility for them, to work in a team, to listen to someone else's opinion. On the deep conviction of the staff of the institution, the smallest pupils are the most important members of the school community, and their values ​​and needs are very important, since it is at this age that the foundation of his worldview is laid in man, and early childhood impressions have a significant influence on the rest of his life. For admission, you need to have a certain level of knowledge in subjects and English, and employees are more flexible and consider a variety of applicants. The school conducts training on the prestigious standard of the International Baccalaureate of Primary Schools (IB Primary Years Program), which guarantees students a high level of development. The curriculum also includes the standards of the Italian national primary education system (Scuola Primaria), which helps children from Italy to obtain an international diploma and prepare for the passing of national examinations (foreign participants may not take them).

The educational process is based on 5 extensive sections, each of which includes certain knowledge, skills and skills. Work on these sections allows children to develop their talents at a very high level:

In the elementary school, active language development continues - children are taught in English, study another foreign language, Italian schoolchildren also study Italian. Foreign participants receive broad support for adapting to the lifestyle, rules and norms of behavior. Children are in school from morning till 16:00 (approximately), there is a group of extended day where it is possible to prepare homework under the supervision of a teacher.
