The Renaissance International School is one of the youngest international schools in Lanciano. Its peculiarity is the possibility of obtaining a classical Canadian secondary education in a unique Italian cultural environment. Lessons in the school are conducted in English. Students can choose from a wide range of fundamental disciplines and special subjects.

The Italian school provides education on the full boarding basis. Foreign students can live on campus during studying and on vacations. The school has all conditions for a comfortable stay, interesting pastime.

Academic preparation

English-speaking Canadian educational program is offered at the school. It includes compulsory studying of mathematics, informatics, physics, chemistry, biology, world civilizations, social sciences, Italian, French, English, art, theater. Students also take part in extra-curricular activities (minimum 2 per week). Public activity of students affects overall academic ranking. Participation in social, cultural, sporting events is strongly encouraged.

The Renaissance International School provides board meals. For students the cafeteria "Allegria" opens at 8:00 a.m. The menu features traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

The school operates in a university preparation format: the program is designed to help students gain admission to the world's top universities.

Applications to Ontario universities are submitted by early December; applications to other Canadian, American, and European universities are submitted between January and April. Canadian universities typically announce admission decisions in June, American universities in April.

• Copies of report cards from previous years of study and the most recent reports,
• Recommendations from two teachers,
• The applicant must be under 19 years of age at the time of enrollment.

The school accepts Canadian, American, and international students. Admissions are open throughout the year on a rolling basis: a place is offered based on academic performance, teacher recommendations, and the availability of spots. A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of application.
