Kindergarten, Preschool Department
- Age — from 2 to 5 years,
- Duration of study — four years.
The preschool education program, covering three sequential age groups and 1st grade, creates the foundational base of knowledge and skills that will help students transition to primary school and adapt more quickly to a more rigorous academic environment.
The main focus of the curriculum is on the study of English and Italian, mathematics through games, group work and communication, and exploration of the world around them. Children spend a lot of time outdoors, engage in physical education and various forms of creative activities: handicrafts and drawing, singing and playing musical instruments. As children grow older, the topics become more complex to ensure that every child will be able to read, count, and speak well by the end of 1st grade.
The school practices a high level of individual attention to each student; younger pupils are offered two learning formats in the preschool department:
- Full day: from 8:30 to 16:00,
- Part-time: from 8:30 to 12:30.
For convenience, there are after-school care groups where children stay until 17:00.
Primary School, Primary School
- Age — from 6 to 10 years,
- Duration of study — five years.
In primary school, covering grades 2–6, special attention is given to bilingualism: regular Italian language lessons promote the development of language skills, while English language classes contribute not only to improving reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities, but also to academic preparation for further stages of school education.
The curriculum is based on mathematics, English, and natural sciences, studied in an interdisciplinary format. These are supplemented by physical education, music, and fine arts classes to provide students with well-rounded development and support for their talents.
Middle School, Средняя школа
- Age — from 11 to 15 years old,
- Duration of study — five years.
In the middle school, grades 7–11, students follow an academically rigorous and balanced program covering 12 subjects: several languages, mathematics, natural and social sciences, performing and visual arts, and physical education. The main language of instruction is English; in addition, students attend classes in Italian, German, or French (elective). Native Italian-speaking students may sit the national exam Scuola Terza Media and the Invalsi tests to obtain an additional qualification.
High School: International Diploma
- Age — from 16 to 18 years old,
- Duration of study — two years.
A two-year program covering grades 12–13 leads students toward earning a valuable, prestigious international diploma. Students follow a personalized curriculum of six subjects of their choice: three are studied at standard level, three — at advanced level. In addition to the chosen subjects, all students work toward acquiring three core competencies:
- Theory of Knowledge (TOK) — an independent research paper on the nature of knowledge,
- Extended Essay (EE) — a written research paper on any academic topic within one of the chosen subjects,
- Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) — participation in sports, creative, travel, and volunteering activities/projects.
Students are offered a wide range of subjects to choose from, including several languages, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, standard and advanced mathematics, and various arts disciplines. When composing their curriculum, students draw on an understanding of their strengths and a well-considered academic path that leads them toward study at the world's top universities.
