ILAC International High School is an educational institution, offering a rich curriculum with a focus on STEM, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, and social sciences.

The educational institution opened in 2024, settling in the central part of Toronto. The modern equipment of the premises and territories adjacent to the school buildings offers a variety of opportunities for the academic and extracurricular development of students.

The academic system here is designed to help students gain a strong knowledge base, confidence and personal qualities that will give them opportunities for educational growth. Diverse learning experiences in and out of the classroom, comprehensive teacher support, extracurricular electives, and continuous improvement in English proficiency are key to students' academic success.

The school community is represented not only by local, but also by foreign students - among the students there are representatives of more than 90 countries. Teachers, staff and students themselves create a friendly atmosphere in all learning areas, encouraging teamwork, support and warm relations between students of different nationalities. To unite the team, thematic events are regularly conducted on campuses, which are aimed at revealing individual talents.

The school has a department in which consultants provide additional support on the curriculum, talent search and development of the individual abilities of each student. Specialists accompany students at every stage: from application to transition to higher education, offering specialized support:

Students are accommodated in the homes of host families, whose members provide comfort, safety and immersion in the culture and customs of the country. Host families are carefully selected and tested to make students feel at home. Single rooms are mostly offered in family homes, but if you wish, you can move in with a friend or classmate. The room has all the necessary furniture, and outside it the student will have access to the common areas: kitchen, bathroom, living room and yard.

The student can choose a meal plan that suits him: two, three meals a day or without meals.

The extracurricular life of the pupils is truly diverse, including both campus and outdoor events: from themed parties and holidays to hiking, attending concerts.

Learning English through everyday communication, academic studies, and entertainment is one of the main advantages of studying at ILAC. Students have the opportunity to improve their speaking skills in the process of entertainment such as:

• Excursions in nature,
• Activities in thematic clubs.

Teachers and staff accompany students to help them adapt to their new environment, ensure safety and a rewarding experience from their free time. Qualified assistants participate in the organization of hikes, campsites and excursions, who not only follow the students, but also present them with new knowledge and practical skills.

The campus is located in the central part of Toronto, adjacent to many attractions, entertainment and cultural centers, parks and walking areas. Near the study area is the Bloor-Yonge station, thanks to which students will be able to get to more remote places, explore the natural beauty of the suburbs.

The academic process is organized in classrooms with the latest equipment, computer and specialized laboratories, self-study areas and a library with a reading room, rooms for student groups, an assembly hall and other premises for leisure development.

There are four trimesters in the academic year:

• Autumn: September-November,
• Winter: November-January,
• Spring: January-April,
• Summer: April-June.

The school also operates in the summer to provide students with more opportunities for learning, so there is an additional summer semester (June-August).

Classes are organized on weekdays, and rest is organized on national and international holidays, and weekends. The daily schedule varies depending on the chosen program, but after the completion of the main lessons, students always have time for leisure.

Upon completion of their studies, students will have an excellent base of knowledge and skills to continue their academic path at leading colleges, universities in Canada and other countries.

Prospective students arriving from abroad must have a full package of documents: passport, visa or residence permit, health insurance. In addition, it is necessary to provide academic certificates from the previous place of study: current report cards, diploma of complete secondary education, if any, language test results. If the student does not have sufficient knowledge of English, he will be offered an additional language course.

ILAC offers partial and full scholarships for students in grades 10-12 starting in September – they will cover the cost of the program and other services based on academic merit, extracurricular merit and interview results.
