The largest private network of design, fashion and visual arts schools - the European Design Institute, IED - was founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli, who still serves as president of the organization. The Institute is registered in the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is in many professional organizations in Italy and around the world - the total number of students reaches 9,000 people, representing 80 countries.
The aim of the studying at the Design Institute is to give talented students a strong knowledge base and skills so that they can build a successful career, become popular and highly paid specialists. In the process of teaching, educational traditions and the most modern methods are harmoniously combined, innovative technology is used, all the latest trends and influences are carefully monitored, so that the graduates are as much as possible aware of the processes of the modern world.

The specialists of the accommodation department at the Institute in Venice are ready to help foreign students to find the housing that best suits your personal needs. Residences and hostels located near the academic building work with the Institute on the basis of a partnership agreement, so they provide their students with the best, cozy and fully furnished rooms, as well as spacious common living rooms and fully equipped, functional kitchens.
You can choose the best option for living in any part of the city (hostels, renting a room or apartments, a place in the student residence), and book a B & B (with breakfast) option.

Additionally, applicants pass a telephone interview with a representative of the Institute, so that he can be convinced of the level of the language.
Please note that all basic documents (certificates, medical certificates) must be translated into Italian and notarized. In the diploma and the certificate should be a list of studied disciplines, the number of hours each.
