For a short time, teachers resisted modern processes and technologies, and today almost any teacher knows the basics of using a computer, a smartphone. Many admit that thanks to innovations, work has become easier.
Technology has made it possible for teachers to conduct online learning: uploading the right materials, delivering lessons remotely, and checking homework.
Unified State Exam
So many years have passed since the introduction of the USE, and this issue continues to be relevant and hotly discussed. Opponents of this system criticize the "leveling": in their opinion, tests do not allow to identify and determine the potential of the student, his abilities. Children who think outside the box are deprived of the opportunity to show their genius.
Proponents of this testing just consider it an advantage to create the same conditions for graduates.
The question of the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the USE remains open, but something else is important: the very existence of this exam affected the work of school teachers. On the one hand, preparation for final exams has become more organized and understandable, on the other hand, you have to sacrifice the study of new material for the sake of analyzing test tasks. The only thing that has not exactly changed is that the main attention is paid not to the child and new knowledge, but to the system itself and its specifics.
Keeping up with the times
It will be difficult for a teacher to earn credibility with children if he is far behind the so-called current agenda. This does not mean that you need to dye your hair green and listen to Face. But the basic ideas about youth culture should be in order to reduce the likelihood of generational conflict and misunderstanding.
Unfortunately, many teachers (in particular, age ones) are still morally in those times when social networks and other Internet resources were not so actively developed. They do not know anything about modern idols and trends, and often do not want to know.
Thus, over the past couple of decades, the teacher has changed a lot: he has become quite advanced, mastered technology. However, many still need to change their thinking, show its flexibility, if there is a desire to be in demand and respected teacher.
