Tourists visiting Salzburg, Austria, may first decide that there are exclusively historical and cultural attractions created in past centuries. The Red Bull exhibition pavilion refutes this theory. History and features of the exhibition hall
The museum is located near the runway of Salzburg Airport. Externally, it is represented by two towers and an ellipse that looks like a shell. The walls of the building are completely glass, in the evening it is illuminated by bright spotlights, what attracts tourists from all over the world.
The museum was founded in 1999 by the creator of Red Bull - aircrafts. The collection of the richest citizen of Austria were exhibited here. The official opening took place in 2003.
In the pavilion, in addition to airplanes, there is a gallery of paintings related to the theme of flights: these are the masterpieces of modern artists, reinforcing the emotions of the adjacent technical structures. There is a gallery of sculptors who have created works on aeronautics.
A restaurant
RestaurantIkarus, known throughout the world, is located on the territory of the museum: annually, dishes of the best chefs from all over the world who demonstrate classical, fusion and molecular cuisine are presented here. The chef of the restaurant has the status of "the best cook of the century", and the restaurant itself is one of the leaders in the number of Michelin stars. Tourists who decide to try the best dishes of the world should be prepared for big financial expenses.

- Visitors are forbidden to touch or even get close to the exhibits, but photos and video are allowed without restrictions.
