George School began its history in 1887, when the rich Quaker John M. George makes an impressive contribution to the construction of a boarding school. In 1893, the first 155 pupils arrived at the school, who began to study in three programs - scientific, classical and literary. Today, there are 547 students studying under the Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs. The George School students come from various states of the United States and another 22 countries, 26% of students are foreign students. Accommodation, housing and food

More than half of school students live in boarding schools on a permanent basis or on weekdays. The headquarters of the campus is located in Maine, one of the oldest school buildings. Sights campus - clock and Red Square. Each residence has its own personality: for girls, there is Westwood with a beautiful wooden porch and rocking chairs, for boys - Campbell, the farthest from the center of the campus, Orton, extended and updated several times, Drayton of the century, located on campus. An interesting accommodation format is Brown House, where eight students, sometimes boys, and sometimes girls, learn to live independently (almost) from each other.

George School offers the services of a Students's School Center - a community of students, teachers and parents involved in creating a safe and open environment in which students are taught using positive leadership techniques. Teaching students how to solve problems, to resolve conflicts contributes to social, emotional development, self-regulation, is an important factor for future school success. The center focuses on students from six weeks to five years of age; they are held from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm five days a week.
  4. The George day camp (GSDC) was opened in 1977 for boys and girls from 4 to 14 years old. Camp guests participate in a wide range of activities: from swimming to equestrian sports, archery to art.
