The private boarding school Frensham Heights School since its founding in 1925 advocated mixed studying, for mixed classes where boys and girls could learn on equal terms. Also one of the basic principles of the school's work is informal communication between teachers and students: surely, the necessary subordination and mutual respect exist, but there is no arrogance and excessive strictness towards students. The chamber of the school provides strong links between all living and day students: everyone knows each other in person and by name, constantly communicate with each other.
Frensham Heights School accepts for children from 3 to 18 years old, boarding (full or weekly) is available to students from 11 years of age or older. To date, the Frensham Heights School has about 520 students, 415 of them on daytime and 105 at a boarding house (roughly equal to boys and girls). Classrooms on average include up to 18 students.

In total, 20 subjects are available for selection: in the first year 4 disciplines are usually studied, of which only 3 remain for 2 years (if the student does well, he can leave all 4). Students are provided with comfortable, fully equipped and furnished residences on campus. Boys and girls are provided with separate houses. Basically rooms are designed for 2-3 people, but high school students (11-13 class) can claim for separate bedrooms. Students can prepare their own meals for themselves in common kitchens (teachers watch the cooking of representatives of junior classes), meals are organized according to the full boarding system (three times a day, a dining room with self-service). If your child requires a special diet (dietary or religious, medical prescriptions), it is enough to inform the school administration about it, and a special menu will be made for him.
Various competitions are held regularly between hostels: the life of each house is managed by the general School Council, the heads of departments and the committee of the senior classes.

According to statistics, more than 50% of pupils play musical instruments (often even 2-3 different ones), at school even there is an opportunity to pass profile musical examinations. Most students at Frensham Heights School enroll at 3, 11, 13 and 16. All applicants must pass the Common Entrance examination, and applicants for the A-level program pass profile examinations in the selected subjects, are interviewed and provide recommendations from the previous place of studying (the GCSE certificate must include scores of at least 6 subjects not lower than the mark C, and for subjects planning to study at A-level, not lower than C).
