Students of French universities in some cities now do not have to worry about their financial support for the duration of their studies in the country. The list of lucky cities includes Chenow, Dunkirk, Gravelines, Plougastel and several small communes. Students will be paid a subsistence minimum - from $1,071 to $4,285 per year - regardless of their citizenship and level of financial income.
Such a support measure will allow students not to waste study time on part-time jobs and once again save on household expenses. Some cities plan to additionally involve students in volunteer formats and events under this program.
