Florida International University Summer Camp (Miami & Orlando) — a summer English language school offering a short-term course for students aged 10 to 20.
The seasonal program will be an excellent opportunity to improve your English proficiency and visit one of the favorite tourist regions in the USA — Miami, Florida. Training is organized on the branch campus of Florida International University, located near beaches and entertainment facilities. The educational area boasts modern infrastructure, which is also used for conducting a summer course — students have access to comfortable accommodation, numerous classrooms and specialized premises, sports facilities.
Students of the summer course are expected to have a busy schedule with entertaining and cultural events on campus and several large-scale excursions. Immersion in the language environment will help effectively develop English skills and foster confidence in their use in various situations.

Students of the summer course are accommodated in a university residence with the following facilities:
- Apartments: single and double rooms with bathrooms for 3-4 residents,
- Standard single and double rooms.
Accommodation is provided on a full board basis, which includes daily balanced meals. The students' diet includes two American breakfasts and a prepaid meal card for the duration of excursions.

Almost every day, daytime and evening events are organized for students on campus: themed games based on famous works, sports games, creative and culinary workshops, talent shows, karaoke, movie screenings, and much more. They help students get to know each other better and have fun in their free time.
Several days a week are dedicated to excursions — the program includes five full-day trips with walking tours of attractions and cultural centers of the region. Students will visit:
- Fort Lauderdale Center: Las Olas Boulevard, Anne Kolb Nature Center, Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk,
- Miami South Beach: a walking tour of the Art Deco district, a visit to the Versace Mansion, Lummus Park, Ocean Drive,
- Everglades National Park: an airboat ride through the mangroves and swamps of the Everglades, an alligator and wildlife show, a visit to Sawgrass Mills Mall,
- Wynwood Arts District: a walk through Little Havana, Calle Ocho district, an evening visit to Bayside Marketplace,
- Miami South Beach: visiting Coral Gables, relaxing on the beach, shopping on Lincoln Road.
In addition to excursions and campus events, there is an opportunity to spend a mini-vacation in Orlando — for four days and three nights, students stay at a hotel with half board, study English, and participate in entertainment trips:
- Disney Springs and Universal CityWalk — shopping and entertainment areas,
- NASA Kennedy — space center,
- Walking tour of ICON amusement park.

The summer program takes place on one of the educational campuses of Florida International University — at the Maidique campus, 25 minutes from South Beach. The university's infrastructure includes modern classrooms, several libraries, sports facilities, including swimming pools and open fields, and grounds.
Admission dates and extra charges
Training is organized in June-July and can last for 2-3 weeks at the student's choice. The weekly schedule includes morning English classes, daytime and evening entertainment activities, and excursions.
The course fee covers accommodation with full board, study materials, campus and off-site events, and more. Additionally, administrative fees and deposits, health insurance, flights, and personal expenses need to be paid separately.
Enrolment process
Applicants need to fill out the registration form, provide the required documents, and take an online test to determine their current language level. Summer camp staff will provide all necessary information about arrival on campus, after which students are assigned to groups and begin training.
Perspectives
During the course of study, students periodically take small tests to track their language level progress — it will be reflected in the graduation certificate.

Applicants with a foreign passport, health insurance, visa or US residence permit can apply to the course. Age is important for enrollment — from 10 to 20 years old, but the level of English proficiency can be any.
