The Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (abbreviated FHNW ) is a state-owned higher education institution that has been actively involved in scientific and academic activities since 2006 in Sweden. Currently, the main building of the university is located in the city of Windisch.

This is a secondary higher education institution where about 8000 international students study annually. The teaching staff is more than 1900 teachers of the highest category. This university actively cooperates with universities around the world in student and academic exchange.
