(SEK) The Escuela de Verano de la Universidad Camilo José Cela de Madrid is a summer school at the university located on three campuses in Madrid. During the vacation months, specialized short-term courses for students from 15 to 18 years old are organized here.

Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC) is one of Spain's leading innovation and research centres. Thousands of students from different countries study there, creating a truly multinational community in love with research in the fields of health, humanities, education, and technology.

The summer school offers students specialized programs that allow them to master a valuable knowledge base in one of the proposed areas. Classes are conducted by qualified teachers and specialists in the field entirely in English, which makes the courses available to students from different countries. An excellent addition to the academic component is the comfortable conditions of the campus for living and self-development, an extensive program of leisure and entertainment.

Pupils follow a daily schedule that balances academic classes and extracurricular activities: in the mornings, they attend lectures, and then go on excursions or engage in joint activities on campus. The schedule also includes time to visit the dining room, free hours for relaxation.

Students in the summer programs are accommodated in the university residence on the UCJC campus and in the residential building of the SEK El Castillo school, which offer multi-bed rooms, access to bathrooms and common recreation areas. Employees live next door to the students, ensuring the comfort and safety of the pupils.

Each student is provided with three meals a day based on a regularly changing menu. Thanks to an experienced team of chefs, students will be able to taste many local and international dishes, satisfy their taste preferences and special dietary needs.

Students living in the residence have the opportunity to visit many attractions of the capital of Spain and nearby regions on excursions, spend their free time daily usefully: collective games and events, talent shows, watching movies, barbecues and other activities await students in the afternoon of each day.

• Submission of the application, required documents,
• Receiving a positive response from the admissions committee,
• Paying the tuition fee to book a place,
• Arrival at the campus: passing the language test, accommodating in the residence and starting classes.

Admission of new students is subject to availability. Those applicants who fully meet the entry criteria are enrolled in the courses.

At the end of the education, each of the students receives a certificate indicating the knowledge gained, lectures attended, and existing skills. Thanks to high-quality education under the guidance of experienced teachers, students will be able to continue their academic path in one of the institutions in Spain or another country.

To enroll in summer courses, foreign students must provide personal documents: passport, health insurance, visa or residence permit. An important admission criterion is compliance with the age stated in the program description.

All documents must be translated into English or Spanish and certified.

For programs that take place during the summer holidays, there is a system of discounts:

• 7.5% for pupils and graduates of SEK schools,
• 10% — if you register before January 31,
• 5% — if you register before April 30,
