For the 36th time in Dubai, the ceremony of awarding diplomas to students of Emirates Aviation University was held. This year, the celebration was especially solemn: 379 graduates received bachelor's and master's qualifications and are now ready to start a career in aviation and related industries. The diplomas were presented by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Airline.
Among the graduates were specialists in air traffic control, logistics and supply chains, air transport engineering, aviation security and other areas. This year gave the university another outstanding achievement: the employment rate of young professionals was an incredible 94%! Such indicators demonstrate that the programs of Emirates Aviation University perfectly meet the requirements of the industry and provide preparation of highly qualified personnel.
Today, the university works closely with leading employers in the region: last academic year alone, 130 students underwent internships in the structures of the Emirates Group, acquiring valuable practical skills along with theoretical knowledge.
In addition to the practical component, special attention is paid to artificial intelligence and the development of engineering projects at the university. Some alumni have showcased their own developments through programs such as NextGen Leaders and Dubai Airshow, proving their commitment to tackling the complex technical challenges of our time.
