Indian women have received additional educational support from the Duolingo English Test platform: the creators of the persistent green owl have launched the DETermined scholarship for female students entering STEM majors. The scholarship will be paid in the form of a $30,000 grant, which recipients will be able to spend on master's programs at universities in the United States of America. Financial support is relevant for those who will enroll in the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications for selection to the program will open in June 2025, and the winners will be announced in September.
Those students who demonstrate good academic performance and develop ideas for modernizations and innovations in STEM fields can become participants in the competitive selection. The main condition is that the new ideas are aimed at the development of India. In addition, Indian students must have a bachelor's degree in a similar field.
