The summer camp at Dublin Technological University (formerly the Dublin Institute of Technology) is an exciting summer learning experience at the largest university in Ireland with a long history and tradition. Staying here will allow students from 12 to 17 years old to find themselves in a rich academic environment: from the inside, they will see the interaction of career-oriented students and staff who are passionate about their work. Flexible weekly entertainment program allows you to choose a part of the activities in accordance with the preferences of the student, some of the activities are focused on the whole group. Daily afternoon and evening classes will be an excellent practical addition to learning English in the classroom.
Camp programs include:
- Visit the mysterious Glendalough Valley, located in Wicklow Mountains National Park. The trip includes a visit to the old cemetery, Glendalough Monastery, located next to the lakes.
- Excursion to the old ship Ginny Johnson, moored on the Custom House Quay in the center of Dublin. Here you can feel like one of the people who crossed the Atlantic in search of a better life in the New World.
- Visit the Science Gallery, Trinity College Science Center, Dublin, Ireland. Opened in 2008 and located in Trinity College, the gallery holds many exhibitions and lectures to promote science. Unlike most scientific centers, there is no permanent collection here, but there is a series of 3-4 temporary exhibitions per year.
