Cyprus University of Technology is one of the youngest universities in Cyprus. The original name is Cyprus Polytechnic University. At the very beginning of the work, the institution included the Higher Technical Institute and several other scientific institutions, later it was renamed TERAK.
The mission of the university is to provide a high level of education, to promote a continuous learning process throughout life using modern pedagogical technologies. The university plans to become the scientific, educational and economic center of Limassol.
Another important direction of the university’s development is the education of socially responsible citizens promoting a healthy lifestyle, active participation in the life of the state, moral values and concern for the environment.
