Cognita network acquired the prestigious St. Gilgen International School

The international educational group Cognita has entered the Austrian market — this is a new direction in its global development. The company acquired St. Gilgen International School in the town of Sankt Gilgen, in the federal state of Salzburg.

The school currently educates 230+ students aged 9 to 18, representing 35+ countries. Approximately half of the children and teenagers live on campus. St. Gilgen International School follows the International Baccalaureate program and focuses not only on academic results but also on development outside the classroom. The partnership with the company will open additional opportunities for students and teachers, providing access to global resources and educational practices.

After the deal, the school became part of the Cognita network, which unites approximately 90 educational institutions in 21 countries and already educates around 100,000 people worldwide. For the company, this marks a new stage of international expansion: it already operates in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the USA.
