Cambridge Education Group and Wittenborg University have launched a joint preparation program for international applicants - the new course is called Propaedeutic Year One and is due to start in September 2025 at OnCampus Amsterdam.
The new program will include intensive study of English and in-depth subject courses in the same language. During the course, foreign students will learn the basic concepts of the future student program and improve their specialized knowledge. Completing the course will help expat students successfully enroll in a bachelor's degree at a local university or outside the same city: 60 credits provide direct access to all Dutch universities, 11 of which are in the top 250 of QS World University. The chances for admission to universities in other EU countries are also increasing.
Cambridge Education Group and Wittenborg University joined forces to compensate for massive budget cuts in the international education industry. While the Dutch government continues to reduce investments in the development of international activities, Wittenborg University is trying to maintain interest among international students and strengthen its global reputation.
