General English: Winter English Course

Universal language course General English will help to quickly improve English skills even in a short time (1-4 weeks). All major language competencies are developed:

  • Reading
  • Writing, grammar
  • Oral speech: overcoming the language barrier, fluency and literacy, accent correction
  • Listening comprehension (listening comprehension)
  • Vocabulary is an expansion of vocabulary.

Teachers prepare interesting, rich, interactive lessons, devote time to both project work and useful lectures. This is a great opportunity to start learning English if you haven't studied it before – or to reinforce your knowledge and skills for more experienced students.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Students of the winter program are accommodated mainly in residences, where they are offered double rooms (shared bathrooms). Bed linen and towels are provided, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are available. Each student has a bed, a wardrobe, a workplace, a bedside table.

Meals — full board.

Accommodation in a host family is available on request: this is a great opportunity to learn more about British traditions and customs, to practice English with its speakers.

Activities Winter by the Thames, London

For each week of the program, a minimum of 1 full-day excursion and one half-day excursion are planned. Travel options:

  • Oxford: the legendary university (the oldest in the English-speaking world), interesting sights and monuments of culture, architecture, a walk through the cinema from the world of "Harry Potter"
  • Brighton: a walk along the most famous, beautiful and comfortable British embankments, a city pier, a holiday on the coast, restaurants with local seafood
  • Cambridge and its famous university, a walk through several colleges
  • Walking around London: royal London Walking tour, London Eye, National Gallery, Harry Potter Walking Tour, shopping in Westfield.
