The Irish language school Active Language Learning is bringing back summer programs for teenagers — for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic! At the same time, the learning center is launching a new course for older students and expanding its examination options.
- After several years of hiatus, the school is once again accepting groups of teenagers. The Junior Summer program is designed for students aged 12–17 and takes place in the coastal town of Dún Laoghaire near Dublin, combining English lessons with excursions and cultural activities so that students can not only study but also get acquainted with Ireland.
- In addition, a new format has appeared — the Young Adult Summer program for students aged 17–19. It is aimed at those preparing for university admission, travel abroad, and international experience. Participants will be able to choose one of two start dates: in July or August.
At the same time, Active Language Learning has received examination center status from PeopleCert, so now it is possible to take the LanguageCert International ESOL exam here monthly at various levels.
Brief overview:
- The school has been operating for nearly 40 years, offering English language programs for teenagers and adults. Its courses are accredited by ACELS and QQI, and the organization is a member of ELE Ireland and Eaquals.
- The campus in Dún Laoghaire is located on the coast, between the mountains and the sea, and is considered a safe and convenient place to study, while Dublin city center can be reached in just 15 minutes by commuter train.
