Review about Westonbirt School
The chold has been studying at this school for the second year - there are no complaints.
Excellent British boarding school far away from big cities, green campus and good teachers.
We took Westonbirt School due to two options: it is considered one of the strongest in the country in the middle classes, plus separate education since 11 years old (only girls study).
Our requests for universities are high, so we went to England in the 7th grade (now finish the 8th), to prepare properly and in the final certificate there were excellent grades according to a complicated program (by the way, not all go to A-level, by the way did not know). Our daughter does best in math and physics, mindset to the exact sciences, and wants to get education in IT.
So, in ordinary schools, boys often get more "emphasis" from teachers on the exact sciences, and girls, they say, do better as humanities scholars. Here, no discounts are made to anyone: you are good at math - it means that you will be in the best class. Comparing assessments and developing abilities no, girls are not shy about doing all kinds of research, solving problems quickly and practically. Well, as for leisure (they say, they will not learn to communicate with the boys) - there are enough periodic general events (sports and entertainment) and excursions.
Our daughter is studying at Westonbirt School. We are ready to leave a positive response about both the school and the company that organized our trip - Smapse.
If you want to send a child to study abroad - forget about independence and do not think that you can do everything yourself. Save time and effort, contact professionals! During the preparation for the trip, there were many subtleties. We were very glad that Smapse was chosen as our agent. We really liked the approach of specialists: very sensitive, pleasant in communication guys, very professional, educated. They answered all our questions, we chose the options for us, under our requests. And the enrollment was free, which surprised us a lot (expecting a large commission, even already put aside money for this): Smapse does not work as intermediaries, but as partners of foreign schools, that's why they do not take money from us. We paid only for the translation of documents and the booking of air tickets.
Our daughter really likes the school - the only thing she asks for the upper grades (now she's in high school) is to move her closer to London. It's probably nice for us to be in a pastoral village, and young people appreciate more big busy cities. When we look at universities and senior schools, probably, we will really pick up something more capital, although it will be more expensive. Another plus of Westonbirt School - attractive cost of studying. At the same time, we got acquainted with rankings - Westonbirt School shows itself very well, and the daughter's teaching reports are excellent. We sure that our daughter will get excellent education.
