The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) is one of the largest and oldest medical institutions in the United States. The university operates campuses in Newark, Piskatauey and Stratford offering academic knowledge from undergraduate to doctoral studies in medicine, research in various areas of health and dentistry.
Each year, more than 100 prospective students participate in programs that focus on cancer research, early detection of Lyme disease, and the relationship between smoking and cancer.
