The College of Staten Island (CSI)is a public educational institution that is part of the 11 colleges of the City University of New York system. Completed in 1994, Willowbrook's 204-acre landscaped CSI campus is the largest in New York City. It contains a well-developed network infrastructure to support technology-based teaching, learning and research. The campus is located in a park area in the center of Staten Island: woodlands, flowering trees and ornamental plantations, fields and outdoor sports facilities, magnificent lawn, sculptures and recreation areas create a rural oasis in an urban environment.

The CSI academic year consists of two semesters with separate summer and winter sessions. Classes are held according to the schedule on days, evenings and weekends.
