Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología Costa Rica (ULACIT) is considered one of the leaders of higher education institutions in Costa Rica. This is a private institution that has been operating since 1988. The Latin American University of Science and Technology Costa Rica is geographically located in the city of San Jose.

For admission the applicant will need to provide a list with performance at the previous place of education. Both local residents and foreign citizens can apply for admission. Gender restrictions are absent. The cost of a bachelor’s / master’s degree program is approximately $ 5,000 per year. The facility also offers financial assistance to students with good academic performance. In addition to full-time tuition, the university supports distance courses.
There are about 2100 students in total. The teaching staff includes approximately 150 teachers. Foreign students make up about 6% of the total number of students. The Latin American University of Science and Technology Costa Rica cooperates with many foreign companies and institutions.
