Adult English courses

A universal English language course is designed for adult students of any level of preparation and focused on the development of spoken and communicative skills. You can choose the most suitable intensity yourself - from 15 to 25 hours weekly. All basic language skills develop in the classroom (mostly lessons are taught in the morning): reading, listening, writing and speaking, grammar, vocabulary and phonetics are being studied, vocabulary is being expanded and pronunciation is improving. After lunch, students can participate in various role-playing games and situations, to consolidate the acquired skills and knowledge in the process of living, informal communication.

The program of preparation for one of the most famous and widespread language exams is designed for adult students with a fairly confident level of knowledge. Teachers are well aware of the structure and characteristics of this exam (many of them are part of the examination committee), so they can draw your attention to the most common mistakes and difficulties, to prepare for the passage of each test unit.

In addition (upon prior request) it is possible to organize groups to prepare for Cambridge exams or TOEFL.

The official testing center of IELTS is located directly at the school - pupils have the opportunity to take the exam four times a year (April, June, October, November, exact dates are notified in advance on prior request).

The general English language course for children and teenagers will suit even those young students who did not learn English before. Thanks to the comprehensive approach and professionalism of teachers, as well as small classes (up to 14 people each), language skills improve quickly and without undue effort, studying is conducted in a comfortable and interesting atmosphere. Complex development of all language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking, improving pronunciation and expanding vocabulary, studying vocabulary, grammar and phonetics.

In addition, the opportunity to prepare for admission to New Zealand universities. This version of the course is more focused on developing the academic skills required for successful admission and further productive studies. According to statistics, foreign students who have confidently completed this program, without much difficulty entering the selected universities and colleges in New Zealand.

Pupils of 8-18 years can not only effectively learn English, but also have fun and enjoy spending time! This course will be remembered for a long time: it combines complex language lessons with a lot of entertainment, sports, leisure and sightseeing activities. Classes are held in the morning, and after lunch pupils can go to local museums or parks, see the sights and main tourist sites, visit the zoo or relax in nature on a picnic, ride a yacht or ride a horse.

There is also a separate version of the course for junior schoolchildren (from 8 to 12 years). Classes for them are conducted in an interesting game manner, in an atmosphere of friendliness and benevolence. Learning English is done with the help of games, musical reprises, theatrical productions and role-playing games, drawing techniques, studying scientific facts, and own small studies are used. Attention is also paid to sports, active games, relay races and outdoor competitions.

Note that children from 8 to 10 can be educated only living with their parents or as part of groups of foreign students: for children, a constant supervision of an adult (parent, guardian, educator, group leader, etc.) is necessary.

Description of Unique language school

One of the popular and respected schools in New Zealand is the Unique school, which offers effective and balanced English language programs for children, adolescents and adults. The variety of educational courses allows students to study here from all over the world (the school numbers representatives of more than 35 countries), of any age and level of preparation.

For the first time, doors for students were opened in 1989. Today Unique School is proud of its level of equipment and infrastructure, the professionalism of the teaching and administrative staff, the quality of the offered educational programs.

Unique school has received the 1st category according to the official accreditation of the qualification bodies of New Zealand: this allows all adult students to work incomplete working day (note that this opportunity is provided to those students who have already studied for 14 or more weeks). The institution has a special Coordination Center for Employment, which provides and finds opportunities for work or volunteer activities.

Accommodation, meals, prices

Each Unique school student lives in a host family, which enables him to adapt more quickly and easily to a new educational, cultural and linguistic environment, to constantly learn the knowledge and skills he has received in an informal setting, in communication with native speakers. Most families live very close to the main building of the school, within walking or transport access. Pupils under the age of 13 are usually accompanied by family members to classes and after school home.

In the home of the host family, each student receives a personal comfortable, cozy bedroom, fully furnished (including a place for study), providing three meals a day (full board). Family members are always ready to help you with the solution of various issues, to recommend interesting places to visit or popular tourist routes.
